Who is responsible

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and protect them against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a secure, working website.

If you email us or become a customer

We process your name, email address, company details, the content of our correspondence and, if you buy, order and payment details. We use them to answer you and to deliver the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card details.

If we contacted you first

We send individually written business emails to companies outside the EU whose offer may fit our services. For this we use business contact details that the company publishes itself, for example on its website, its Steam store page or a trade fair exhibitor directory. The email you received names the source.

We store only your company name, the business email address, the source and our correspondence. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in offering our services to businesses (Recital 47 GDPR). We do not buy address lists, do not use tracking pixels and do not share your data for marketing.

Your right to object: You can object to this use of your data at any time, without giving reasons (Art. 21(2) GDPR). Reply "unsubscribe" or write to hello@launchgerman.com. We will then never contact you again and delete your data, keeping only your email address on a suppression list so that the objection is respected.

Service providers

• Zoho Corporation B.V. (Netherlands): email hosting, data stored in the EU.
• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and domain name service.
• Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland): payment processing.

Where these providers process data outside the EU, this is covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

• Outreach contacts without a reply: deleted six months after our last email.
• Correspondence with interested parties: deleted when it is no longer needed, at the latest two years after the last contact.
• Invoices and business records: kept as required by German commercial and tax law (up to ten years).

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hamburgische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
